It was in the Neuchâtel area of the Jura Mountains, in de Locle, Switzerland, that Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile created the watch making company Tissot in 1853.
Throughout its history, Tissot watches never fail to attract attention. Pioneering accomplishments in movement technology, use of special materials and the development of innovative watch functions have led to Tissot’s introduction of the first anti-magnetic watch, the first watch made of stone, the first watch in wood, and more recently, the “T-touch”, with its tactile functions.
